Science Podcast Step 7

Today, we will conduct peer reviews of podcast drafts.

First, listen to the audio essay as many times as needed to respond to the following prompts:

• How well does the essay make use audio samples to bring research into the piece? What about the length of the samples? How smoothly are they integrated? How do they flow within the narration?
• How well does the essay make use of music, ambient noises, or sound effects? What might be done with additional sounds to improve the piece?
• What can you say about the narration? Are there aspects of the tone that can be improved? Are there points that are not clear. What about the quality of the capturing of the voice?
• What technical aspects stand out? What might be done with the volume levels? What about transitions between materials? What other edits will improve the technical aspects of the piece?

Listen to the audio essay, and then add a comment with recommendations on these aspects. If you finish all of the reviews, you can look over the feedback on your own podcast.
