This essay does a very good job giving the authors point of view and interpreted reading of the poem which really helps the reader understand what the point of the essay is. While there are quotations from scholarly articles there definitely could be more. Also, the ones that are already used seem to not provide any new information or confirm any previously given information. I think the quotations could be better selected and implemented to create a stronger connection the main idea of the essay. The biggest concern about the essay is the lack of explanation surrounding the quotations and references to the articles. From a formatting standpoint the essay didn’t have a title page or a bibliography but I’m sure the they will be included in the final version.
There are some quotes from scholarly articles and the paper does a good job of explaining the analysis and summary of the poem. Many lines are broken down and the introduction does a good job of looking into specifics like the point of view and capitalization. I would just say to provide more quotes from the scholarly articles to give a better understanding. The quotes from the poem are integrated well. Make sure to add the MLA heading and the works cited page.
