- Add separate title page and start the Introduction on a new page
- When you quote people in the essay, maybe indicate who they are (researcher? scientist? etc) so the reader knows who you're referencing.
- When adding quotes, make sure to use commas
"According to Plastic Oceans, "We produce over..."
- For the methods section, I would break it into two paragraphs (one for how you used TAGS and the spreadsheet and one for how you coded the tweets)
- Maybe embed the graphs into the text
- In the data analysis section, if you reference data from a specific graph, state which one you're taking the data from
- Proofread for small spelling errors/grammar mistakes
- The last sentence in the Data Analysis section is incomplete (no punctuation)
"It is not surprising to me that"
- For the conclusion, I suggest trying to relate the data to a broader picture (like why the data is important to acknowledge) instead of only discussing the importance of saving marine life.
- Include the citations on a separate page

Really nice analysis of the data!

Introduction

  • Discuss how the twitter community relates to the issue

Method

  • I would talk about how you went about assigning a tweet to each category.

Data Analysis

  • I would have liked to know how many people supported eliminating plastic through legal means or social means.

Conclusion

  • Could be more detailed and connect to the analysis better.

Great overall.

One thing that I gathered from my reviews was that people would like to see more standpoints from a legal and social stand point. The people that reviews my paper also said to tie the Twitter aspect into my paper more.

I plan to research about social and legal issues about eliminating plastic to see if that effects why we haven't already eliminated plastic. I also plan to use users tweets to give the reader an idea of how it effects the community and how people on social media feel about the topic.

When I revise my essay I will go more into depth about the categories and how I actually placed each tweet into what category. I also will add another category based on location to show that this problem is worldwide not just within the US.

Checklist

  • fix my vocabulary/grammar
  • space out my essay to make it more comprehensive
  • explain more about my research
  • fix up my citations within the analysis
  • add more details to the conclusion

Some things I picked up on in your paper was that your conclusion was brief, and there were some grammar issues.

I really liked the topic and I would have liked to of heard more about what you found out while researching.
