Introduction about twitter users might be a little to broad, maybe start out with an introduction or discussion on tariffs between US and China
Does the report analyze and offer insights into the Twitter community studied? What might be revised to strengthen the focus on the community?
Maybe you could look into the political leanings of the tweets and connect it to whether it was in favor or not. This could add some more depth into the analysis/discussion.
The part where you discuss how twitter users like or dislike something in your discussion should probably go in the methods section. It doesn't really add to the analysis of the data and is more background info.
Does the report connect the Twitter conversation to a topic of social interest? How focused is the topic of social interest? How might the connections between the Twitter conversations and the topic be strengthened?
This is a conversation to a topic of social interest as the Trade/tariff war is an ongoing discussion. The analysis however could be more focused on the social aspects of the tweet. The stance of the tweet is good, but you should probably add one or two more social aspects to analyze to add more depth to the discussion.
The close read portion is mostly examining the length of the tweet which could be beneficial, but doesn't really connect with the rest of the data.
Tweets that are listed in the paper could be analyzed more in depth as there are only a few sentences regarding them.
Based on the visuals in the report, what edits might be made to the Twitter analysis to reveal more details about the community? How might the codes and the spreadsheet itself be reworked to improve the visuals?
Visuals are fine, maybe add one or two more of them so that you have more information to pull from
Does the format serve the purpose of the report? How might the sections, heading, and other aspects of the report be adjusted to improve organization or readability? Are there missing elements--e.g., a bibliograph--or elements that need correction?
As stated previously, the section talking about how users like or dislike things on twitter could be moved into the methods rather than having it in the discussion section.
1. Gave a good understanding of the twitter community. Rephrase first sentence. Talk more about how twitter is unique and a popular place for people to share their ideas.
2. Good connection from twitter to your topic. Nice explanation of what recently has been happening in relation to the trade war.
3. Integrate your graphs throughout the discussion whenever you are explaining them to help make connections. Try and have a total of 3 graphs.
4. Well organized and structured. Make sure to add the header of the title on the top left of each page.
5. I would explain the different types of rhetorical strategies people used. How did people defend their stance? Overall, try and read through the tweets and see if you can notice any more patterns to add to your paper and could potentially make another graph on.
-The paper does analyze and offer insights pretty well however there are a couple of things you could add to strengthen the focus on the community. You could add one or two more categories to organizer the tweets. Especially their political views or even their rhetorical strategies.
I think this paper connects the twitter conversation to a topic of social interest very well, it also explains the topic and what’s going on with the tariffs which makes the paper easy to read.
The graphs now are fine they just need to be put near where you’re actually explaining the graphs. Also like i said earlier you could probably add at least one or 2 more categories to help organize the paper which would add one more chart giving the reader some more details about the community.
The title is pretty good, really everything is, I think that extra category or two to organize the tweeters’ would be very useful and strengthen the paper overall a ton.
