Audio Essay

I liked your intro at the beginning of your audio essay. I feel that the pace and clarity of your voice was easy to listen to. The facts and support that were used in your argument were great. I liked how you lead into the TED Talk clip because it gave me some background. Maybe adding another expert into the audio essay could add even more interest, but overall great audio essay!

I really enjoyed your audio essay. The addition of concrete facts and statistics to your essay definitely boosted its credibility in my opinion. Your external source was smoothly integrated and provided interesting, next-level information. The inflection in your voice added emphasis to certain areas and made your essay more interesting as a whole. The string of rhetorical questions at the end of the essay posed a challenge that I appreciated. Great job!

The opening does well at pulling in the listener. The tone of the narration is also working well. There is a nice comfortable feel to the voice. I feel like bringing in some outside audio clips sooner in the piece might be good to add variety. The Ted Talk clip is nice but seems to have two aspects to it. Maybe it can be broken up or trimmed. You may be able to use music, ambient sounds, or audio clips to add variety in different spots. The narration is very compelling, so working on getting the external audio just right, and then adding some audio texture and transitions will make it even stronger. Nice work.
