Audio Essay Draft

I liked your topic a lot. The clarity of the voiceover was great. Some of the volume levels were different from voiceover to expert audio, but that is an easy fix. The facts and information that you used were fascinating and I feel that I was able to learn something. I liked how you ended the essay without a conclusive answer giving room for extra research and audience interpretation. Overall great draft!

I thought this was a really good audio essay! Your expert audio pieces were really insightful and they added a lot to the essay. I could definitely relate to what they were saying. The pacing was good for the most part, but it seemed like you got a little quicker towards the very end. I liked this a lot and found it super interesting. I didn't know social media affects our dopamine pathway... I'm wondering where the line is drawn between positive impacts of social media and negative effects. Anyway, your voice sounds great, and I really enjoyed this. The only things I can think of improving is maybe slowing the pace down a bit and making all of the clips have the same volume. Great job!

The information is captured well in the script. The piece begins a bit abruptly, so maybe a musical intro or some other audio elements can smooth things in. The pacing of the narration is a bit fast and gives a sense of being read a bit, so a more conversational tone a bit slower might be good for the narration. The volume level on the audio samples is a bit low. You can experiment with adding some sound effects or ambient sounds to add variety. The second clip might be cut down a bit to focus on the key information. You may be able to build in some transitions with music or other sonic elements as well. As you record the narration again for a less formal tone, you may want to do another round of trimming on the script as well just to keep things flowing. Nice work. 

You have a great tone in your audio essay. Your voice captured the audience and made it easy to listen to the essay. The audio you sampled from was very hard to hear compared to your voice though, so maybe bump that up. the only other thing i could think of was maybe slow down a bit. Overall-great!
