Do you wanna, do you wanna be, happy
I said do you wanna, do you wanna be, happy
I said do you wanna, do you wanna be, free
I said do you wanna, do you wanna be happy
I said do you wanna, do you wanna be, free
Free from pain, free from scars
Free to sing, free from bars
Free my dawgs, you're free to go
Block is hot, the streets is cold
Free to love, to each his own
Free from bills, free from pills
You roll it loud, the speakers blow
Life get hard, you ease your soul
It cleanse ya mind, learn to fly
Then reach the stars, you take the time
To look behind and say, "Look where I came
Look how far I done came"
They say that dreams come true
And when they do, that there's a beautiful thing
Now do you wanna, do you wanna be happy?
I said do you wanna, do you wanna be free
I said do you wanna, do you wanna be

I like the mix of imagery…
I like the mix of imagery and the way the piece eases into the opening. You can adjust the placement of the clips on the canvas to standardize how much of the frame they fill (and perhaps to make use of any black space for text.) At 29 secs, you can crop out the watermark in the video. I also feel like this clip may be present on screen too long. I like the repetition of text. The various fonts add variety, but I wonder about the title with the white border at 47 secs. I like the way the pacing picks up with the text and visual as the music increases in tempo after about 1 minute. And the use of text on the black background is working well. Starting around 1:20 I have more trouble taking in the text on the background. The way the piece concludes is nice. This does a good job of working with the pace of the music and has a nice mood, so adding more clips to keep things moving with the visual, and then fine tuning the placement of the clips and then the ways the text gets displayed will make it all come together. Nice work.
