This essay does incorporate a quotation from a scholarly article which gives the paper more credibility although more reference to that article or others could have provided even more. There is an author interpretation and reading of the poem but it could go into better detail elaborating on points taken from the reading instead of general structures. The biggest possible concern regarding this essay would be the lack of explanation and elaboration into the primary thesis of the article which was “the sake of their dignity and the world they leave behind, they must battle fiercely with death.” More of a connection between that point and the poem itself could be drawn. Otherwise I think the formatting and setup of the paper is near correct.
This paper has a good amount of quotes discussing the interpretations and comments about the poem, but it might be good to add another quote. There is a good focus on the poem and a good breakdown within the lines. I don't really have a concern with the paper. I like the connection with To Kill a Mockingbird. The quotes from the poem and articles are integrated very well.
