After reading this essay I believe that it does a very good job using quotations to explain the poem. The essay does a good job with suing the quotes for explanation and information. The citations seemed to fit well with the poem. Does a good job find appropriate sources for research.
Does the essay zoom offer a reading of the poem? And does it zoom in on details to make points about the poem? What can you say about the interpretation of the poem?
Although you use some citations to explain lines within the poem, there isn’t much of the actual poem within the essay, so it makes it hard to follow. For the beginning of the poem it doesn’t seem to be much explanation, but I believe for the second part of the poem you do a good job of using sources to explain the interpretations.
And what would be the one larger concern that you have about the essay? What one suggestion would you make to respond to the concern?
The largest concern I would say for this poem is to make sure that the reader can understand the poem without having to look it up to read the poem. Otherwise the essay does a very good job using quotations and sources to explain the poem and its interpretations.
