Today we will finish our podcast presentations, hearing from

  • Gena, Natalia, Juia, and Jurnee on Mental Health
  • Gabby, Shawn, Tyler, Dominique, and Katie on Plastic

Once we are finished, we will check on our timing. If time permits, we will go over the steps involved in cleaning up the audio files. I will also go over the submission of these files. If necessary, we will use some class time on Monday to complete these steps:

Today we get to deliver some of our podcast performances. We will spend the first few minute setting up, and then conduct the recordings. For reference, today (Thursday) we will hear from:

  • Emily, Olivia, Sameer, Karenna and Liz on Climate Change
  • Ben, Jonathan, Joe, Nathan, and Shailyn on Climate Change

Today we will do more hands-on work to prepare for our podcasts. We will split things into three segments. Before getting started, we will review the steps below in terms of our reading from last night and the drafts of our scripts so far. 

For the two tasks below we will take about 20 minutes:

1) First, in your group, listen to and make decisions about the media clips you will use for the podcast. You should have 12-15 clips, so you will need to pick out the most useful ones--probably 3-5 clips.
