I thought your audio essay was really good. Specifically, I liked the intro and how you incorporated the different clips and sound effects into your essay. I really liked how you incorporated light music into the background while you were speaking.Your audio was very clear and easy to understand. My only suggestion is to maybe have a lighter tone during your speaking parts. Overall I thought this was a great first draft!

I'm going to try to re-record my speaking points with a lighter tone. I struggle with this, because I don't think I'm a natural at this kind of thing, but I'm definitely going to give it a shot. I'm not sure what else I should do with it, so maybe I can focus on being more creative or on pulling more/better outside audio clips.

I like the way the piece opens up. The script seems to be working well, but the reading has a bit of a formal feel. The first audio sample feels a bit odd at the end, when it transitions to the well what is a meme statements. I think that might be trimmed or reworked. The narration has a nice volume level. It might be that some music woven into the piece in spots can add variety and help with transitions—I see this happens at the end, so maybe it can be expanded. The second clip about what makes things go viral, actually feels a bit short. For the various memes in the middle, you can work to make sure all the audio levels are equaled out. The research and points made in the narration are working well, so working on the technical pieces will make it even stronger.

I really like your audio essay! I especially enjoyed how you dived into the history/background of memes, I was unfamiliar with it and I think it helps give context for your topic. One suggestions might be to fade out the peanut butter jelly time music so that it ends a little less abruptly.

I enjoyed your audio essay, and I found the laughing segment a nice choice for the beginning. The first clip you integrate is somewhat loud, but I think all of your clips were well integrated.  You speak at a consistent pace, and I enjoyed the sound effects!
