Today we will begin with some writing activities to help us make progress on our Literary Research and Analysis Essays. Follow these steps:
- First, open a word processor file for your work.
- Next, of the four sources you included in your bibliography, pick the two that seem the most helpful so far.
- List the title and author of the first source, and then write a two- or three-sentence summary of the main argument the source makes about the poem.
- Next, offer an evaluation of the source. Does it seem to treat the poem fairly? Are there aspects of its argument that seem questionable? What is most useful or interesting about the points that are made? Write two or three sentences evaluating the source.
- Next, write a summary and evaluation of the second source.
- Finally, review the sources again, and then write a two or three sentences comparing the sources or synthesizing the points made in each.
When finished, use this link to create a posting where you can submit your word processor file or link.
When finished, you can use the class time to work on the essay that is due Friday.
For homework, complete this reading assignment and continue to work on your essay.

Sayyed Rahim Moosavinia and Morteza Shahrakzadeh- "Potential Ambiguity in Robert Frost's THE ROAD NOT TAKEN- This article starts off with a conversation that does not relate to the poem that much. This article is talking all about the authors reviews on the poem and what they think about it. There might be a little disliking going on in it.
The article treats the poem good and bad. There are some positive reviews and some negative. An interesting point I had was the author emphasizing about the first speakers role and their option on that.
