I really liked this video. The consistency of how the words appeared on the screen allowed me to focus on the images and the music. I also liked the combination of nature imagery and more abstract imagery. I think the music set an upbeat but contemplative mood that went well with the poem. One suggestion might be to turn down the raw sound on some of the clips a bit, I liked how different sounds popped out but a lower volume might ensure that each clip’s original music doesn’t distract from the audio track that you laid down. Nice job!

I like the strategy of keeping multiple bits of text on the screen. I also like the strategy of having the text on the black background in spots. I wonder about the placement of the clips on the canvas, though in the segments starting at 16 secs. The visuals are working well. Some more work with the audio in the  video clips can a) make things smoother and balanced and b) be deployed to bring more deliberate sonic content into the piece. It may be that when you come up with a different model for delivering the text, some of the clip arrangement will be easier to deploy. The text and clips all do well at delivering aspects of the poem, so polishing up the placement and sonic elements should make all come together more smoothly. Nice work.

I really enjoyed how you creatively formatted the video clips on the screen. By rotating which quadrant the video was shown in, I never lost focus. Moreover, the words were always clear and well displayed. I felt the imagery complemented the poem well, but much of it seemed surface level. I would love to see the develop into something a bit more abstract. Moreover, at some points, the sonic overlap between the music and from the clips was distracting at times, and the transition between the two could be a bit more smooth. Overall, I enjoyed it.
