Today, we will go over steps for uploading your meme images. You will use the Meme Images posting type to upload.

Then we will explore a few additional aspects of Photoshop that make fuller use of layers. I will guide us through the steps below:

Download these images:

Part 1 Create a new file in Photoshop. Place the window image on top of the desktop and resize it to fit over the bottom "window." Duplicate the desktop image, and then delete the bottom version of it.

Use the selection tool to mark the window frame, and then use a mask to hide the rest of the image

Place the other images between the desktop and the window, resizing them to show through the window frame.

From the Window menu, select Timeline.

In the Timeline, choose Create Frame Animation, and then click on that button/text.

Change the view in the timeline window from thumbnail to tracks

Edit the tracks to get the right sequencing

Export the file using Save for Web and GIF, keeping animation. Open the file in a web browser

Part 2 return to the photoshop file, and fill the space of the top file window on the desktop so you can write

Add three layers of text with some variation on the golden rule: Do unto others as you would have done to you

Return to the timeline and make more adjustments

Export your file again and test it.

When finished, upload your second file as an image in a comment on this posting.

Once we finish this exercise, you can use remaining time to work on the meme images. Submit your meme Images by 10:00AM on Saturday.
