Perhaps an opening screen with login fields, or some profile screen or some other elements to spoof the app aesthetics even further. You might also build in more steps after slide three. Could you have three images, that then lead to the conclusions on the weather. I wonder if you could have someone hold their hand out, and then "take a photo" with their phone or their hand, and then show the images. It is totally on the right track so just pushing the conceit further with even more absurdity and then adding more app aesthetics will really bring it home.
