Misinterpretations
The movie, The Yellow Wallpaper, was not as insightful as the story. The
movie left out many vital parts thereby not giving the complete feelings and
happenings of the Women. We, the viewers, received no personal information about
the Women evoking no feelings of sympathy or any understanding of the situation.
The only concepts to come across in the movie were that the Women had no control
of the situation and that she was losing her sanity. At the end of the movie a
feeling of disorientation arose since one still had no idea what was going on.
This movie is a poor representation of the story.
