Abraham woke up with a jerk. Did his dad just place his hand on the forehead?
(live: 1.5s)[
No, must have been a nice vision. Abraham always convinced himself that whenever he saw his parents in his dreams it was a [[vision.->2]]

]
The peculiar thing about his visions were that he never forgot them.
He picked up the glass of water by his bedside and took a few gulps, gave himself time to recollect what his [[father->3]] had to say.
His father Abdul Waquar from Karachi, in Pakistan was a strong believer in religion. He meant no harm to anyone and certainly did no harm to anyone. Kadir Sahib was well known in Pakistan for his humane deeds.
Unfortunately, he had contracted 'Myconditionia'.(click-append: "'Myconditionia'")[ was a disease which the World was yet to come on terms with. A rare condition which brought only one thing for certain, DEATH ] Not much was known about its causes or cures. But Ab was hell-bent on finding out more. Because of his dad's condition, mycon was extremely close to his [[heart.->a]]
Ab was a doctor by profession, but a philanthropist at heart. After completing a degree in medicine from UNC, he moved on to conduct research work to find cures for [[mycon.->5]]
<img src="http://www.pamf.org/findadoctor/feature-locations.jpg"/> Tears welled in his eyes when he remembered his conversation with his dad about his disease.
“Abba... come to America; we will find a cure here,” he said. His voice drowning in beseechment. He knew what the [[answer->7]] would be even before he had asked the question.
"No ways son! Born a Pakistani, die a Pakistani... Don’t you worry son, keep your mind focused on your studies, I can take care of myself”.
(You can do anything in the world, anything, just anything BUT argue with Kadiri Sahib. His words were rock solid.)
“Khuda hafiz”, the customary blessings of his dad, and then the line had
[[gone dead ->8]]
From that day on, finding a cure to mycon was Ab's sole mission.
But he was fighting against time.
At the time mycon was detected in his dad, the longest known mycon infected person then had survived for 3 years only. The world had to find a solution for mycon, and Ab had to lead the [[fight->9]].
6 years had passed, and his dad had become the longest surviving mycon patient, but that was all. Mycon was still unconquered.
Everyday he woke up, he was sure that he would find a cure to mycon. Every night, he cursed himself for not being able to accomplish the [[task.->10]]
If only his dad would agree to come to the US, maybe he could find [[the cure ->12]] faster. After all, his dad was the longest fighting mycon patient. (click-append: "longest fighting mycon patient")[ the recent victims did not last even 2 years. ]
His dad had something special that helped him fight longer than others. Maybe something that could be concentrated in people's body and used a remedy.
But his dad had refused then, and refuses now. He would not leave Pakistan in life or Death. Ab had the thought of moving to Pakistan; but he realized that without the adequate facilities, his [[research would be handicapped->13]] there.
The problem at hand was his work visa, it would expires that day and the new American laws throw him out unceremoniously.
"Pack your bags and off to Pakistan," were the words of the officer delivering the rejection request for visa renewal.

Sitting despondently on his couch, Ab decides to write an email to:
[[Ruuhi, ->16]] his first and only love
[[The President of United states ->17]]
[[His Mother ->18]]
Ruuhi was the sole breath of fresh air for Ab.
She knew him as much as he knew mycon
(click-append: "mycon")[-more than anyone else, yet not enough to conquer it.]
She had waited for ages for Ab to express his love, but Ab had [[never admitted his desire->19]] for her.
Though his plea had already been rejected by the United states citizenship office, with a heavy heart and very little hope he made one last attempt to secure his stay in the country. He emailed the president letting him know how close he was to finding the cure to mycon, and told him that all his work would go to waste without the resources that the US could provide him.

The letter to his mother was more of a fighter accepting defeat than anything else. He would be coming back home, but without a cure for mycon. He felt he had let everyone down. What is the point of becoming a world renowned doctor when you cannot cure [[your own father?->26]]
She had moved on with her life. She got married to the famous business tycoon Watson Smith. Watson was also a Tar-Heel with Ab, but he was born with a silver spoon in his mouth. He had all the wealth in the world to sweep Ruuhi out of Ab’s life.
Ab had taken the moving of [[Ruuhi ->20]] out of his life as the will of Allah.He had written to Ruuhi to make her aware of his return to Pakistan. For the first time in his life, he had spelt out his feelings for her. (click-append: "feelings for her")[ He had written I Love You for the very first time in his life.]
His hands shook. If emails had a handwriting, this would have been the most trembly written [['I love you'->21]] in the world.
Ab had left his laptop open last night; it was glowing in the dark. Yes, he had an email. With shivering hands he opened his [[mailbox. ->22]]
Hi Ab,
Allah Hafiz. I am greeting you with Allah's name, because I am so happy that you have found an expression of your feelings for me. Ab you crazy guy, what took you so long? Were you waiting for my marriage with someone else? Watson is sitting beside me and is thanking Christ for your late realization. He believes that someone's loss is another's gain. Ab, I am sure that love for someone is to keep seeing him happy. I have loved you all these years by keeping away from you and your mycon fight. That, I believed, kept you happy.
Now when you are going back, mycon is unconquerable forever. No one with passion like you will come in our lifetime to fight it. Then how will you stay happy? Fortunately, Watson cannot bear to see tears in my eyes and has decided to do something about it. He is setting up a Mycon Research Foundation in Karachi with you as its head. Go for it Ab, Pakistan and your dad are waiting for you. Will love to see a smiling Abraham pic on my Instagram. Conquer Mycon. Be Happy, I will feel that my love for you is reciprocated.
Love,
[[Ruuhi. ->23]]
Tears were welled up in his eyes as he shut his laptop. Allah is merciful in his own special ways. His fight is still on. With his dad by his side, he would surely break the mycon code.Dear Doctor Abraham,
Greetings from the White House.
We regret to inform you that your plea for the Visa extention could not been approved. This was a part of the president's electoral promise and we feel sorry that it is causing you to leave United States.
We wish you luck in your [[future endeavors. ->25]]
Best wishes,
J.Joseph
Secretary to the President of the United States of America
He shut his laptop with such [[anger->Untitled Passage 1]] that he almost cracked the screen.
Loving Abram,
Allah Hazif. Recieved your mail. Although the mail stated your plan to come back, it seems to me like you are not happy with this decision. Something about the tone of your letter made us believe that you feel like a soldier in a lost battle. You are feeling ashamed of being on the losing side. But no one wins and no one loses till the fight is over, we must not give up. Your dad will be able to put thoughts better to words so he wants to take it from here on.
I am amazed at your reaction to come back. This is a happy home coming. Just because you have not found a solution to mycon you must not feel ashamed. I know you have given it your best shot. It is our duty to perform, it is Allah who will deliver. He will deliver when he deems fit. You are destined to be the soldier who will single handedly fight mycon; I know this not only because of my faith in Allah, but also because I have faith in you. I have been a bit of a selfish person who did not lend a helping hand to you in your fight against Mycon. I will keep my ego of staying in Pakistan aside, and help you in your fight against mycon. My vision is clear now. I cannot let you down. I have accepted the Government of India’s request to come to India under a bond that I would submit myself for a study for research against Mycon. I have talked to the consulate of both India and Pakistan, and they are happy to agree to my decision to be a research subject under you. Yes, you are also being given an extended stay in India if you desire so. I am taking a flight to New Delhi in an hour's time and hope you change your plans accordingly. Together, my boy, [[ we will fight->27]] mycon in Delhi. By 'together', I mean you and my undying faith in Lord Almighty.
Looking forward to seeing you in Delhi, Allah Hafiz,
Abbu and Ammi
