The Value of Improving a Digitized Geneva Bible

The opening information about the genesis of the GB is working well. I wonder if aiming for some imagery from the text or something with an older feel makes sense for the opening. For the various YouTube and Vimeo clips, I wonder about cropping out the web site artifacts. This is an interesting technique and you may be going for having the sites show on screen, but since some of the still imagery fills the whole frame, it felt a bit different to me. The information delivered in the narration is working well. The imagery on screen at around 2:00 is working well. The narration and screen movements as you move through the EBBO and Internet Archive imagery is working well. At around 3:20, I feel like experimenting with some different imagery on screen might be good. Perhaps start with an excerpt from an article and zoom in rather than scroll--or maybe some other technique to introduce digital humanities. The imagery that accompanies the proposed changes is working better, but you might also fine tune some of the timing and selecting, etc. For the final version, you can also work on the audio quality. The tone and pacing of the narration is quite good, so some work with microphone setup or audio cleanup can take the sound to the next level. This is working well at guiding people through the GB while pointing toward DH possibilities, so some more fine tuning will make it even stronger. Nice work.
