Hi David! So far, your report shows how technology affected music and communication with the development of MIDI. I really liked the organization of how you are tackling each point. Every description is very detailed and flows well. I like how you are connecting the topic to digital humanities. The only thing I would suggest is a little more elaboration on how MIDI has affected the music. Like examples of how it works. Great work!!

I really enjoyed reading your draft about MIDI as a digital humanities tool. I think your draft is especially effective where you discuss the relationship between MIDI and the digital humanities. I like the idea of writing about how MIDI can respond to some of the critiques that are typically leveraged at DH. As you continue working on this, I think it would be helpful if you provide some more information about how MIDI works and the purpose of it.
