D&D BEYOND

I'm the most concerned about two things: a) making sure the piece makes sense to a non-D&D player and b) making sure the citations fit smoothly into a creative piece.

I loved the introduction and framing section! I especially loved the line about the five swords because it was both humorous and was a genuine question that one could perhaps find the answer to on the D&D Beyond site. One possibility for me to make my own report more creative would be to have an introduction where John Calvin tries to use the archieve.org version and has issues or something along those lines. I think the most successful element was that it was entertaining, and I mean that as a huge compliment because it means that more people would be likely to read and engage with an report like this one than a typical academic report.

As a non D&D player, I was personally a little bit confused about where the voice on the yellow pages in the different font came from. I like how it represented the voice of past mediums and possible dissenters, but I was confused who the agent of these comments were. Is the book sentient, or is someone speaking through the book? It's super minor, but I think it would help my understanding of the text as a whole to know. I think the citations worked great!
