Follow these steps:

Choose one of the items below. Insert your cursor below the item, and then write about the projects in this class in terms of that item for four minutes.

Choose another of the items, and then write freely about the projects in this class in terms of that item for four minutes.

Choose a third item from the list. Without discussing directly the projects, write freely about the activities and processes experienced in this class in terms of that item for five minutes.

  • Creativity- Throughout this class, the projects we have done have all required immense creativity especially because I did not want to follow the exact topics from project to project. Incorporating some of the more common projects such as the meme or the animated gif required us to think outside of the box and come up with unique ways to discuss the underlying them behind this class. Choosing the topics themselves also required a great deal of thought to not only find something relevant, but to also find something that interests you.
  • Problem Solving
  • Critical Thinking
  • Leadership
  • Communication
  • Collaboration
  • Information
  • Risk taking
  • Adaptability- As most of the software and tools we used in this class was relatively new to me, it became essential for me to adapt quickly to the tools. The fast- paced design of the course made it essential to quickly learn about t a specific tool, whether it was TAGS, Photoshop, Audacity, etc. I really liked how all the softwares varied from data collection to image editing to audio composition and editing.
  • Curiosity
  • Reflection
  • Motivation- The process of working through these projects in class is what peaked my motivation towards actually completing them.Being able to learn about these useful tools in class also helped motivate me to actually embrace these projects as opposed to simply completing them for a grade. In class, we could ask the professor or our peers any questions we may have and receive any help we may need in order to complete the various assignments. I feel that snagit and Adobe Rush were the two most useful tools we used in the class ass they are the ones that I can see myself using down the road.

Finally, choose one item from the list below. Write freely about the projects in this class in terms of that item for five minutes.

  • Logic versus emotions
  • Role of visual, sonic, and textual media- The entire class was primarily about incorporating these types of media in order to create internet arguments. The projects created a wide sense of thought and creativity in order to make these projects. The broad bariety of projects made me feel that I was taking several different classes instead of just one. For example, the excel assignment made it feel like I was taking an economics or business class, whereas the meme and animated gifs project made it feel as if I was in a design course. Photoshop really stood out to me because I felt that I had always seen people use it on Twitter and other social medias, but I never realized how difficult it would be to use especially for a first- time user.
  • Networks and social exchange
