Follow these steps:

Choose one of the items below. Insert your cursor below the item, and then write about the projects in this class in terms of that item for four minutes.

Choose another of the items, and then write freely about the projects in this class in terms of that item for four minutes.

Choose a third item from the list. Without discussing directly the projects, write freely about the activities and processes experienced in this class in terms of that item for five minutes.

  • Creativity

Definitely the memes/gifs were very creative. Much more open ended, and the short format somewhat forced you to come up with something good that still meant something. Loved that aspect of it.

  • Problem Solving
  • Critical Thinking
  • Leadership

Podcast, definitely. Though everyone sort of had a leadership role - we basically changed off each time who was "leading" the discussion with our chosen topics of focus. It allowed all of us to take on multiple roles throughout the short period we had, and really adapt to our different position based on what was going on.

  • Communication
  • Collaboration
  • Information

Really all this class is about is information. How do we process and come to terms with it. What if we like it, or what if we don't? How do we express information we believe to be true or interesting? We really just circled around this topic all class. I think this class was less arguing on the internet and more how to handle information on the internet.

  • Risk taking
  • Adaptability
  • Curiosity
  • Reflection
  • Motivation

Finally, choose one item from the list below. Write freely about the projects in this class in terms of that item for five minutes.

  • Logic versus emotions

Also going off the info thing... logic vs emotions. We saw a lot of content was emotional more than it was logical. And we also saw that emotion was often more persuasive than logic. Also we saw how format plays a role in this - most of the internet is short form (e.g. Twitter) which doesn't lend itself to logic. Is this accident, tragedy of the commons, or design?

  • Role of visual, sonic, and textual media
  • Networks and social exchange
