Today we will have a guest lecture related to the readings from last night.
Once the lecture is over, we will review some of the improv collages we created on Monday, and then go over a couple of additional aspects of photoshop.
We will then turn to the three meme images you will submit on Saturday. Here are some aspects to focus on.
Use 1080px X 1080px sizes for images--suitable for instagram.
Create one meme file that just uses text and an image. This will be the most basic meme, so spend some time thinking about the word combinations you will use. How can you mix a visual with a word phrase to persuade someone?
Create one meme file that blends images using layers, masking, and other image editing techniques. Here, be deliberate about the two images you blend together, and plan for how this visual combination will resonate with a verbal phrase.
Create one meme file with subject matter related to internet argument. This meta meme can have as many images or deploy text in any way you wish.
